Although pictures from the set of ABC’s update of “Charlie’s Angels” leaked earlier this year, the network released the first official publicity photo of the trio, which features an African American angel for the first time in the franchise’s history.
Based on the 1970s classic, the remake stars Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh, a Texas native best known for her role as Maya Ward on “General Hospital.”
The photo above is from the one-hour pilot, which was written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and is executive produced the Sony Pictures Television and Flower Films project with Leonard Goldberg, Drew Barrymore (star of the 2000 and 2003 big-screen versions) and Nancy Juvonen.
