Everybody in the industry wants to make money–real good money. Not everyone knows how to hold on and manage the money that they make. Cent$ and Sensibilities took place this morning at the Media & Entertainment Convention at the Raleigh Convention Center. The panel, moderated by Attorney Warren Ballantine, touched on what it takes to manage the dollars and make sense of a budget while living the lifestyle of a music artist. Panelists included, Lisa A. Purville of Wachovia Bank, Monique Myles Carswell of Black Enterprise, Amber Noble-Garland of I For Talent Management and Consulting and Adrian Carroll of Capital One. They also discussed the importance of having accountability when it comes to finances.
