Accelerated Achievement @ Measurement Incorporated (AA@MI) is the tutoring division of Measurement Incorporated, and has been designed to specifically meet the Supplemental Education Services (SES) provisions of No Child Left Behind (NCLB). Our program uses research-based teaching methods that support and complement classroom instruction in grades K-8, and our Reading and Mathematics curriculum has been designed by educational professionals to align with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
We believe that good teaching requires educators who possess a genuine understanding of the subject matter in addition to understanding that children have different learning styles. Our tutoring staff appreciates that knowledgeable, caring people—not software or a one-size-fits-all program—are the foundation for effective teaching and learning. The tutors we employ demonstrate experience with providing individualized, student-centered instruction that is aligned with and expands classroom instruction. At AA@MI our tutors strive to be team players who work in cooperation with the students’ parents and classroom teachers.
