A beat down at a local Red Lobster was caught on tape. Four women attack a female server after their order is wrong.

It happened at the Fairview Heights Red Lobster on the night of December 30th. For the past month, police on both sides of the river have been reviewing the cell phone video hoping to identify the women. Now police want you to take a look at it because employees want justice.

A customer started rolling during the height of the confrontation. In the video you see servers and other Red Lobster patrons pull the server out of the huddle.

Bishop Eddie Long has been called anointed, but he was recently awarded another title, as shown in a video that’s gone viral. He’s now a king.

Long was wrapped in a “Holocaust Torah” and crowned a king during a recent Sunday ceremony at New Birth Missionary Church, his suburban Atlanta congregation.

A visiting rabbi wrapped Long in the Torah, which he said was recovered during the Holocaust. The rabbi then directed four men to lift a seated Long in his chair and parade him before the New Birth congregation.

Long wiped tears away as he looked over his cheering congregation.

This morning, the Queen of Soul remembered her old friend in a statement. “It’s so shocking and stunning,” she wrote. “[Don Cornelius] created a solid and broad foundation for young adults and adults alike to socialize, dance and have good clean fun. He united the young adult community single-handedly and globally.”

Franklin also credited Cornelius with setting a standard for “young aspiring African-American men and entrepreneurs in TV.” She added: “He transcended cultural barriers among young adults. They become one.”

R&B diva Patti LaBelle also remembered Cornelius in a statement, writing, “The contributions he made to music and our culture are second to none. I will always treasure the fond memories I have of working with Don over the years and being part of the history that he created through ‘Soul Train.’”

The last time I saw Don Cornelius was this summer at the “Soul Train” reunion party in the Windy City. He was flanked by his two sons and his longtime bodyguard.

He was in rare form. He exchanged playful insults, often profanity-laden, with his childhood friend, WBEZ’s Richard Steele, a moderator for a panel discussion and screening of VH1′s “Hippest Trip in America.”

The Chicago crowd was alternately amused and stunned at his irreverent honesty. I was impressed that the normally reserved, super-cool host I had grown up watching was a little edgy.
