Small quake hits Carolina coast

Federal experts say a small earthquake has struck near the South Carolina coast.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake occurred near Lincolnville shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday morning. The quake had a magnitude of 2.8.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries.
Multiple media outlets reported that residents around Summerville, Ladson and North Charleston also reported feeling mild shakes.
