The St. Louis County grand jury charged with deciding whether Officer Darren Wilson should stand trial in the shooting of Michael Brown has until January to make its decision, but the prosecutor’s office has said a decision could come in mid-November. While the entire country sits on the edge of its seat, the governor of Missouri declared a state of emergency Monday and activated the National Guard anticipating violence, as well as the City of Ferguson and its new police coalition.
