Family, friends and noted dignitaries mourned and celebrated the life of slain Ferguson teen Michael Brown. Brown’s father, Michael Brown Sr., asked protesters to stop demonstrations Monday, requesting a “day of silence” as his family laid “Mike, Mike” to rest. Rev. Al Sharpton delivered a moving eulogy, and said Brown’s death has sparked calls for change against police militarization and racial profiling in the United States.
