Noon – 11 p.m. Friday on Fayetteville Street
The ‘Works kicks off with live music, kids’ rides and games, street performers, eating contests, and much more. Fireworks will light up the sky over The Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts starting at around 9:30pm. Details

Fireworks after the 6 p.m. Durham Bulls game (tickets are required for the game, but the gates open for everyone after the 7th inning). The Free Jammin Jazz concert runs 6-9 p.m. at the American Tobacco campus. Details

Fort Bragg 2014 Independence Day celebration
Gates open at Main Post Parade Field at 3 p.m. Friday to the public. Events include a concert by .38 Special and Josh Turner, followed by The 82nd Division Band playing 1812 Overture, then fireworks between 9:40 p.m. and 10 p.m. Details

Independence Day Olde Time Celebration at Bond Park

Apex Old Fashioned 4th of July

July 4th Picnic in the Park
Parade begins at 9 a.m. at 300 West Tryon Street, with a reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Old County Courthouse at 10 a.m., followed by a picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Farmer’s Market Pavilion. Details
