Last week, Sherri Shepherd’s husband, Lamar Sally, filed separation papers. It’s assumed that once he has been back in California for 3 months, he could file divorce papers there.

All of this came as a shock (at least to us.) Sherri has seemed completely normal at work on The View.
Sally’s papers asked for their prenup to be tossed out. According to TMZ, Sally is entitled to $60k if the marriage lasts between 2 and 5 years. He has also asked for alimony and full custody of their unborn child that is due via surrogate this summer. He only wants his wife to has visitation and he is claiming that the marriage is fraudulent. (?????)
Shepherd’s divorce filing yesterdaydoes not address custody of the unborn baby. She does want the prenup enforced.
The couple was married in 2011.
