Voting changes are going into effect right now. The General Assembly has outlawed the ability to register and vote on the same day. So, if you want to vote in the May primary, you need to register today. You can stop by a county elections office or postmarking an application with today’s date. People who apply at DMV and public assistance offices also qualify if they turn it in today.
