Is this bizarre or what? A proposed bill in Kansas, would allow parents to spank their children to the point of bruising and give teachers permission to do so as well. The current Kansas law allows spanking that doesn’t leave marks. However, it would continue to ban hitting a child with fists, in the head or body, or with a belt or switch. Kansas is one of 19 states in America that allows corporal punishment. A Kansas lawmaker would like to sharpen the definition of spanking, by allowing up to 10 strikes of the hand. The politician wants to restore parental rights and improve discipline. Your thoughts? Is this a good or bad idea?
