Music icon and legend Whitney Houston would have been 53 years old today (Aug. 9). Her legacy lives on with 31 Billboard Music Awards, 22 American Music Awards, seven Grammys and two Emmys. According to the Guinness World Records, in 2009 she was cited as the most awarded female act of all time. Houston was one of the world’s best-selling music artists, having sold over 200 million records worldwide.
