    wake public libraries

    In August, Wake County Public Libraries will be providing community service in area libraries.  In partnership with the American Red Cross, the Bloodmobile will be stopping at three Regional Libraries. To register in advance for donating blood, search and log in as Wake Library.  Walk-ins will also be accepted. Also, in partnership with Wake County Human Services, trained HS staff will be offering child car seat safety checks in the parking lots of two Regional Libraries. The safety checks are offered on a first-come/first serve basis.

    Bloodmobile visits with the American Red Cross:

     August 6         10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. North Regional Library           7009 Harps Mill Rd. (north) Raleigh

     August 24       11:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.   West Regional Library            4000 Louis Stephens Dr. (west) Cary

     August 27       3:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.     Cameron Village Library        1930 Clark Ave. (central) Raleigh

    Child Car Seat Safety Checks with Wake County Human Services:

     August 8         9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.   Southeast Regional Library    908 7th Ave. Garner

     August 29       9:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m.   North Regional Library           7009 Harps Mill Rd. (north) Raleigh
