Don’t miss out on the best bargain of the summer. On July 1, Capital Area Transit (CAT) Summer Youth Passes will be on sale for $30, down from its original price of $50. The Summer Youth Pass offers kids between the ages of 13 and 17 years the opportunity to purchase a CAT bus pass with unlimited rides through September 1. The pass will be available for purchase at Moore Square Station information booth and the Capital Area Transit Operations Facility on Poole Road.
At time of purchase, eligible youth must present a current school issued identification and proof of age. If you do not have a valid school ID, please email catinfo@raleighnc.gov with the heading “Summer Youth Pass” and the Transit Staff will instruct you on obtaining a temporary summer photo ID.
The Summer Youth Pass savings also include $1 off IMAX at Marbles movie tickets, and $1 off small, cold McCafe beverages at McDonald’s McCafe locations at 105 East South Street and 703 West Peace Street.
The last day to purchase a Summer Youth Pass will be August 1.
