R&B/soul chanteuse and sultry diva Tweet is finally back with new music after nearly a decade away from the scene, but that doesn’t mean she’s been resting on her laurels after the success of both her debut album Southern Hummingbird (2002) and sophomore release It’s Me Again (2005).
She’s been hard at work on new music for what fans deemed an eternity away from us with a few sporadic performances showing up every blue moon, but now the agonizing wait is over as Tweet has returned with that heavenly set of layered vocals and impeccable songwriting that makes you wonder what really took so long for this new EP available February 26th.
Instead of getting bogged down by the industry’s ever-changing face of what’s in or what’s hot, Tweet remains true to her authentic sound that’s equal parts melodic and beautiful. In every sense of the words, it’s Simply Tweet.
