In honor of Black History Month, Comcast, the largest high-speed Internet, phone and cable provider, announced the launch of a new premier destination site for all things Black entertainment.

Xfinity.com/celebrateblacktv will be a one-stop-shop  for a plethora of features catered toward the Black community including movies, TV shows, videos, behind the-scenes footage and interviews of some of our favorite celebrities.

“We are thrilled to celebrate Black History Month this year by sharing with our customers the rich culture and contributions of the African American community,” Ruben Mendiola, vice president and general manager of Multicultural Video Service said.

Some of Xfinity’s Black History Month programming will include documentaries and biographies of prominent historical leaders such as Barack Obama, Aretha Franklin, Richard Pryor and The Jackson 5. There will also be sports and Black History specials from the History Channel, *TV One and other networks.
