An estimated crowd of 600,000-800,000 people are expected to attend Obama’s second swearing-in, on Jan. 21. a. If you’re heading to D.C. for the Inauguration 2013 festivities, you won’t want to miss the parade.

The parade begins at 2:30 p.m. and tickets are not required.

The parade location: Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC. Viewing stands and bleachers will extend from 3rd to 17th Streets.

Participants from the Carolinas include:
The 81st Regional Support Command Wildcats (Fort Jackson, South Carolina)
Asheville High School Marching Band (Asheville, North Carolina)
Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor Commission (Awendaw, South Carolina)
