The National NAACP Economics Department take its Financial Freedom Center program on tour with a stop in Raleigh today from 10a-4p at the Raleigh Convention Center to help boost the economic recovery of local residents hardest hit by the prolonged economic recovery.
The tour stop will provide local residents access to hands-on expertise through financial planners, HUD certified counselors, representatives from financial institutions and non-profit economic advocacy organizations including: Wells Fargo, Bank of America, National Foundation for Credit Counseling, Operation Hope, Neighborworks America, Center for Responsible Lending, and otherlocal partners. Participants will also be offered financial and economic education information on racial economic inequality and fair lending and community economic development.
