Oscar Nominee To Honor Congresswoman

After getting an Oscar nomination for her performance in The Help, actress Viola Davis is ready to star in and produce a movie on the life of Congresswoman Barbara Jordan; the film will be based on the novel Barbara Jordan: American Hero. Miss Davis’ JuVee Productions is handling the project. For many years there’s been word of this film being made; with Viola’s rise in Hollywood, this project is closer to being produced.
