January 16, 2012 will mark the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday. This milestone is an excellent opportunity for Americans from all walks of life to honor Dr. King’s legacy through service. The MLK Day of Service empowers individuals, strengthens our communities, bridges barriers, creates solutions to social issues, and moves us much closer to his vision.
