Sorry “Deception” fans but the Meagan Good and Laz Alonso led drama has officially been cancelled by NBC.

The mystery-drama revolved around the death of a wealthy socialite, whose childhood bestfriend-turned-cop Joanna (Good) returns to the slain friend’s family’s estate to figure out who killed her.

Laz Alonso played detective “Will Moreno”, Good’s boss and on-again, off-again boyfriend.

The show started off the season with a bang but by the end the ratings dramatically dropped.

Alonso tweeted thanks to the fans who supported the show, writing:”Thanks 2 all those who loved, supported & fought 4 #Deception!!! #BestFansEver.”

This just might be us but we are going to miss Alonso’s face every Monday more than the show.
