“George Bush doesn’t care about Black people,” Kanye West said five years ago. We wonder if he ever thought those words would loom over him the way they have.

Last week George W. Bush expressed to Matt Lauer on NBC’s “Today Show” that he “didn’t appreciate” Kanye West labeling him as a racist during the Hurricane Katrina Catastrophe. Kanye had a sit down with Lauer this week and apologized for the comment.

“I would tell George Bush in my moment of frustration, I didn’t have the grounds to call him a racist,” Kanye Told Lauer. “I believe that in a situation of high emotion like that we as human beings don’t always choose the right words.”
